S. Paul Prior, Esq. named to The Arc of New
Jersey Board of Directors

LAWRENCEVILLE,
NJ - Attorney S. Paul Prior has been named to serve
on Board of Directors of The Arc of New Jersey, a
statewide, nonprofit advocacy organization for children
and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities
and their families.
Mr.
Prior is an associate with Hinkle and Fingles, Attorneys
at Law. The multi-state firm operates offices in Lawrenceville,
Marlton, and Florham Park, NJ and Yardley and Plymouth
Meeting, PA. He joins the Board of The Arc of New
Jersey having dedicated his entire legal career to
representing people with disabilities before state
and federal courts in cases related to special education,
guardianship, financial entitlements, and access to
appropriate services. He served as a federal monitor
overseeing conditions at state-operated institutions.
Prior,
who has a brother with autism, has a life-long commitment
to disability law. He also volunteers his time with
Eden Family of Programs in Princeton, and serves on
the Board of Special Olympics New Jersey. He holds
a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law, and
is a member of the Elder Law Section of the New Jersey
State Bar Association.

reach their potential. I'm especially pleased because
I share the Arc's commitment to helping people with
disabilities direct their own services and receive
the supports they need to become contributing members
of their communities."
Founded
in 1947 by a group of parents, The Arc of New Jersey
now has twenty local county chapters providing a wide
array of services for people with disabilities and
their families. The association is affiliated with
The Arc of the United States.
