- The American Association of Retired Persons is a nonprofit, nonpartisan
membership organization for people age 50 and over, providing information
and resources; advocacy on legislative, consumer, and legal issues;
and a wide range of unique benefits, special products, and services
for members.
ARC

- The national organization of and for people with mental retardation
and related disabilities and their families.

ASAH
- Association of Schools and Agencies for the Handicapped is a professional
organization of private schools and agencies in New Jersey, which provides
highly-specialized services to more than 10,000 children and adults
with special needs.
Cerebral
Palsy of New Jersey - serves people with a variety of disabilities
including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury,
arthritis, spina bifida, mental retardation, hearing and visual impairments,
alcohol and drug illness, and stroke.
The
Elizabeth M. Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities - The Boggs
Center provides community and student training and technical assistance,
conducts research and model demonstrations, disseminates educational
materials, and responds to requests for information.
The
Epilepsy Foundation of New Jersey (EFNJ) , an affiliate of the National
Epilepsy Foundation, is a state-wide, non-profit charitable agency dedicated
to helping to improve the quality of life for people affected by epilepsy,
and their loved ones.

Parent Magazine - a magazine for parents of children with special

IDEA
Practices answers questions about the "Individuals with Disabilities
Education Act."
Kingsway Learning Center is a private, non-profit special education
school devoted to the academic and therapeutic needs of children with
developmental and learning disabilities. Located in Haddonfield, New
Jersey, they serve children from birth to 16 years of age.
Mental
Health Association of New Jersey
- MHANJ is a nonprofit volunteer advocacy organization for adults, children
and families impacted by mental illness. The Association provides
information and referral, individual advocacy and systems advocacy on
issues related to managed health care.
Midland
School is a non-profit, nonsectarian, private rehabilitation center
serving the special education needs of children ages 5 - 21 with cognitive,
behavioral, and communication disorders.
NAPSEC
- The National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC)
is a non-profit association whose mission is to represent private special
education centers and their leaders. Together, we promote high quality
programs for individuals with disabilities and their families and we
advocate for access to the continuum of alternative placements and services.

Jersey Center for Outreach and Services for the Autism Community, Inc.
(COSAC), is a private, nonprofit corporation funded by the State
of New Jersey whose purpose is to assist families, individuals, and
agencies concerned with the welfare and education of children and adults
with autism and pervasive development disorders
Eden
Family of Services - Nonprofit organization founded in 1975 to
provide a comprehensive continuum of lifespan services for individuals
with autism and their families.
Durand Academy and Community Services is an agency that provides
a wide range of services to autistic and severely emotionally handicapped
children and their families.

Jersey Division of Disability Service (DDS) - DDS focuses on serving
people who became disabled as adults, whether through illness or injury.
Through its toll free hotline (1-888-285-3036), the Division responds
to requests for Information and Referral Assistance on issues affecting
people with any type of disability in the state of New Jersey. DDS also
publishes New Jersey Resources 2006 (Printable Version PDF), a comprehensive
guide available about services in this state for people with disabilities.
